Increased COVID19 testing capacity at Wanaka Medical

To support the New Zealand government in increasing the level of COVID19 testing in our community, Wanaka Medical is increasing it’s capacity to test suspected COVID19 cases.
As a designated practice, Wanaka Medical has the capacity to assess, test and manage possible COVID19 cases while maintaining safe streams of care for all patients.
Queenstown Lakes Mayor Jim Boult gave this press release earlier this week stating “WellSouth announced on Wednesday that testing capacity in Queenstown had more than doubled following the relocation of the Community Based Assessment Centre (CBAC) testing facility to the Memorial Centre. Actions are also being coordinated by WellSouth to increase the testing capacity for the Upper Clutha community at both the Wānaka Medical and Aspiring Medical centres.”
If you are feeling unwell, and have symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath or a sore throat please call Wanaka Medical on 443 0710. We have adequate capacity to increase our COVID 19 testing and still meet you and your families everyday healthcare needs.
