Driver Licence Medicals

Working Schedule

A medical declaration must be made when you complete any driver licence application form. This asks you to declare any conditions that may affect your ability to drive safely. A medical certificate may be required depending on the condition. Medical certificates are also required when applying or renewing commercial/passenger/heavy vehicle licences.

These medicals require an appointment with both a nurse and doctor. You will need to bring your current licence and paperwork as well as any corrective eye wear you use when driving.

When booking a driving medical, make sure you tell the receptionist so she can make the appropriate appointments.
